PowerSpeaking®, HighTechSpeaking®, FastTrackSpeaking®, and Speaking to the Big Dogs® are video-based, hands-on presentation skills/strategy workshops that empower presenters to create greater audience attention and retention.  After the training, participants' presentations are marked by clear content, confident delivery, and effective use of visuals. 

 Formats

  • PowerSpeaking®  is our two-day program designed for 12 participants.  Presentation skills are  developed and reinforced through personal coaching, verbal, written, and video feedback.  Through stop-action coaching, 10 videotaped presentations, and six private coaching sessions, participants leave as seasoned, persuasive speakers.

  • HighTechSpeaking®  is our two-day program designed specifically for the technical presenter who provides data-driven information to technical and non-technical audiences. From an update, to a project review, to a technical conference presentation, HighTechSpeaking® provides the formula for expert presentations.

  • Speaking to the Big Dogs® program is a one-day strategy-based workshop that incorporates the advice of the 17 top-level executives we interviewed for our DVD. When careers hang in the balance, projects require approval or funding, or hard decisions must be made, knowing what works with executives is essential. Speaking to the Big Dogs provides presenters who must speak to the executive level with the skills and insider's knowledge they need to be successful.


  • FastTrackSpeaking® PS (PowerSpeaking/Speaking to the Big Dogs® hybrid) is a two-day program designed for people who speak to the most senior levels in the company, and who need to upgrade their delivery style and increase their confidence.  It synthesizes the essentials of speaking skills with the strategic principles of presenting to the executive team.  

  • FastTrackSpeaking® HTS (HighTechSpeaking/Speaking to the Big Dogs® hybrid) is a cutting-edge workshop that combines the fine-tuning of advanced technical presentation skills with the strategy and laser-focused orientation of speaking upward in your organization. The workshop will focus on the practical applications of providing a technical presentation in a wide range of situations and how to meet specific audiences' needs, including Big Dogs.

  • Executive Coaching is for presenters who have major talks to give and very little time.   Coaching is intensive, tailored, and productive. This individualized approach combines brief  training segments with private coaching.

  • Optional Formats  - One-day programs and large-group programs are available. The one-day programs feature two private coaching sessions and five videotaped presentations. Large-group programs are available for audiences ranging from 25 - 1,000 and can last from forty-five minutes to three hours. There is plenty of humor and participation.

  • Speaking to the Big Dogs® DVD - Rated as a 2004 "Best Buy" from Training Magazine, Rick Gilbert's DVD, "Speaking to the Big Dogs: A Boardroom Survival Kit," provides insider secrets from 17 C-level executives on what they demand from mid- and senior C-level managers vying for their attention and resources in the boardroom.
